Dancing on Air

This week’s photo prompt is Dance.

I’ve always loved how flags flow and dance in the air.  I can’t tell you how many photos I’ve taken of flags on windy days.  Today was no different.  It was a warm beautiful day, and Seniors had a skip day, so Andre and I headed to D.C., where I took these photos.

I hope you like my interpretation of dance.

At any rate, I’m off… I’m exhausted.  We walked almost 7 miles today and I could use a shower.  Have a great day everyone!

    1. I love it too. This time I went to walk the Tidal Basin… but I wasn’t tired when I was done so I kept going because I wanted to go to the Washington Monument and retake a photo that I took last year about this time. I also wanted a photo of the Reflecting Pool now that it was filled. Last time I went it was still pretty cold and it was drained.

      1. The first time I was in D.C., I walked the Tidal Basin, the Monuments and one of the Smithsonian buildings. I was tired by the end of the day. Next trip there, I want to revisit the monuments at night. I heard it’s lovely.

        1. I’ve heard that too. I was literally just sitting here saying to my husband we should do the Lincoln Memorial at night because I have seen photos of it and it looks amazing LOL.

I live less than an hour away from DC so I go and do certain things. Like one trip will be for monuments, the next one for museums, etc.

I’ve already said when I go back (after my planned trip on the 2nd of April for the Kite Flying in front of the Washington Monument) I want to do the Holocaust Museum, The National Air and Space Museum, and the National Museum of African Art. They aren’t all grouped together, that is just what I’ve planned in my head.
