Yesterday turned out to be a much more productive day than the weekend was. I finished my paper on the Civil Rights Act of 1964. I finished my program code. I even knocked out my testing node for week 3. Which puts me a day ahead of the week. I plan to work on my discussion post for Sociology today and watch a little tv… that’s about it.
I am currently debating vacation ideas for Spring Break. Ocean City was cold last year, but that cold kept people away and it was a nice quiet vacation that I enjoyed immensely. This year, I’ve waited a little too long to make any decent vacation plans for Spring Break. So looks like I’ll have to aim for summer, which will suck. The beaches are so crowded in the summer. While I am thinking about the beach, let me share today’s photo.
I like the shadows in this photo, so I didn’t lighten it. Anyway…
My son turns 18 the weekend before Spring Break officially begins. I have NO idea what to do for his birthday. He is such the home body that he doesn’t want to go out for his birthday, we are too far away from family to throw a real party. Not that he wants one anyway. He hasn’t even given me an idea of what he wants for his birthday. I know what I am getting him for graduation, his birthday, which is significantly closer, no clue.
Anyway, what do you have planned for today? As for me, I am about to get up and get moving. Things to do and as much as I could wish they’d handle themselves, they won’t. So…
