As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
As a child I wanted to be a computer programmer when I grew up. I believe if I had gone to college straight out of high school I could have achieved this dream. However, now that I am significantly older and trying to go to college, I find remembering code to be hassle. Some of the basics stick (I actually just discovered this yesterday when I was working on homework) but some of the more complicated stuff does not.
What was your favorite food as a child? Do you eat it now?
My favorite food as a child was pizza and popcorn, not together of course. Do I eat it now? Yes! I still love pizza and popcorn, I tend to have pizza (usually the frozen variety but sometimes I splurge for Brooklyn style, pepperoni, extra cheese) once a week, but I have popcorn almost every day.
If you were invisible, where would you go?
I don’t know… I think if I were invisible I’d snoop on people. I’m nosey lol.
Would you rather forget everyone else’s name all the time or have have everyone for your name all the time?
I don’t completely understand this question. That said, I am horrible with names. If you are inconsequential to me I don’t spend the energy necessary to learn your name when you first introduce yourself to me. Which is why my neighbor speaks to me every time she sees me and calls me by name and to this day I don’t have a clue what her name is. I seldom see my neighbors more than once or twice so when she introduced herself to me late one night when she came by to borrow a screwdriver I didn’t bank her name. I am good with faces, horrible at names. I feel uncomfortable when people call me by name and I don’t know theirs.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
From last week I am grateful that the utilities are finally on at the house down in North Carolina after much drama with the electric company, long story. I am also grateful that the house inspection has finally been done. This week I am looking forward to my realtor actually doing some work and getting the report from the house inspector, so we can find out what our next step will be. Fingers crossed everyone!
