First Roses of the Year

Since I did not have class this week, I decided to head out in search of nature.  I was going to take the canon to get familiar with it, but I found when playing with it in the house Tuesday that it isn’t as flexible as my Nikon.  So I took my Nikon this time.  I went to Cylburn Arboretum and Rawlings Conservatory in Baltimore, Md.  Next time I go to Rawlings Conservatory I’ll take my Canon.  Anyway…

At the Arboretum I ran across a little rose garden.  In it were the first roses I’ve seen this year.  So I decided I’d share these photos first.

It was nice and cool out yesterday.  There was even a little breeze.  I really enjoyed my time at the Arboretum.  I didn’t enjoy my time at the Conservatory nearly as much as I would have liked to.  Why?  Because I got all turned around and it took me longer to find it than it should have.  By the time I found it, I only had 30 minutes to spend there.  I had to pick Andre up from school, ya know.  I took some lovely photos though.  I’ll definitely be going back.  You’ll see the photos probably next week or this weekend… maybe.

Gotta go!  I’ve been putting off doing the laundry all week, so I think that should be the first thing I start today.  I hope everyone has a wonderful day and I hope you enjoy the photos.  Leave me a comment.  Let me know what you think.  (BTW, I need a new photo editor… iPhoto isn’t as good after the update as it was before… any suggestions?)
