Brookside Gardens, Spring Edition

So yesterday I read one page of my two chapters.  Then I decided, since it was so very nice outside, I would grab the camera and head to Brookside Gardens.  I have seen it in late summer/early fall, but never in Spring.  I also needed to take a trip to The Container Store, which isn’t that far away from the gardens.  With summer coming, I need a new foot tub, and they have a collapsible one.  (okay, it’s not a traditional foot tub, but it will definitely serve the purpose lol). Anyway…

I love going over to Brookside Gardens.  You can tell that the people who work there work really hard to ensure that everything looks great.  I am thinking that they rip the flower gardens apart multiple times a year, because this tulip garden was completely different October of last year.

There always seems to be some construction going on there.  The part that was under construction last year was open and was beautiful.  I couldn’t take a wide shot of it because there were about 4 school groups in the gardens yesterday and they were everywhere.  I don’t want to post photos of other people’s children without their permission.  So, maybe next time.  All the trees looked absolutely beautiful.  Even if I was catching some of them kind of late in the blooming process.  But I’ll post those photos another day.

What a difference the change in season makes to how the landscape looks.  As you can tell it was a little overcast yesterday and I went earlier in the day than I had before.  But I still wanted to share these two photos so you can see the contrast between fall and spring.  I love these trees.  I don’t know why lol.

Anyway, that’s it for now… I’ll probably be back later with my contribution to The Daily Post’s, photo of the week.  In the meantime, have a great day guys!
