To Write or To Read?

If you had to choose between being able to write a blog (but not read others’) and being able to read others’ blogs (but not write your own), which would you pick? Why?

If I had to choose between being able to write a blog (but not read others’) and being able to read other’s (but not write your own), which would I pick?  I’d chose to write but not read others’ blogs.

Why you ask?  I like to write.  It helps me clear my mind.  It helps me work out some of my issues.  Even when I just write a post full of seemingly random thoughts it is helpful to me.  It is better than keeping a diary because I get to interact (sometimes) with other people.

Another reason I’d choose to write is because it gives me opportunities to showcase some of the photos I’ve taken.  I love being behind my camera.  I am actually hating that I finished my associates degree in the middle of the friggin Winter (so to speak) because it means it is just too friggin cold to go out with my camera.  Even if it weren’t too cold, everything is brown and dead.  Anyway, I’m off topic.

I do enjoy reading some other blogs, I’d hate that I wouldn’t be able to do that anymore.  However, this wasn’t a question that left you a loophole to read some blogs and still write your own.  It asks would you write your own or choose to read other person’s blogs.  So in that case, I’d most definitely choose to write my own.

  1. Me too, I think I would choose that ! At the beginning, I created this blog to share my travel with my family, that was my only purpose. Then I discovered that reading other blogs was also enjoyable… but I would chose to write, yes.
