Wednesdays

You know something I’ve noticed… I get NO traffic on Wednesdays.  What’s up with that?  I look at my stats every time I go into the dashboard of WordPress.  Every Wednesday is a dud.  Even if I blog that day I get no traffic… I gotta figure out how to fix that.

Anyway, I just wanted to post a photo that I thought was kinda cool.  This owl is at the house on the corner.  Pretty, but creepy at the same time.  He just watches everything.  People put owls in gardens to scare away something right?  Is it birds?  How does that work?

  1. Yes owls scare away birds, or at least thought to scare them away. Most of the time birds are initially scared and then when they see the bird isn’t moving they figure it’s just another dumb statue people put in their garden. The birds then begin to land on it and poop on it’s head.

As for the no traffic on Wednesday… I saw in my email that there was a new blog yesterday so I clicked on the link to come here to read it and the site wasn’t working properly. I could get onto every other site except this one. So I just gave up and came today instead.

    1. So the owl is the equivalent of the scarecrow. I don’t even though a scarecrow could scare these things out here for a minute lol. They’re huge, even the squirrels get out of their way.

Huh… so WP might be the problem. Nice. Well I did get a couple hits yesterday, that’s more than I usually get on Wednesdays.

    1. Yeah, but I think you put an owl in gardens to scare away other birds. I’m not sure how it works though. Hence the hitch in my theory lol.
